The ancient art of Pule Diagnosis

Keeping my clients in the best health condition possible is my biggest objective. I not only consider myself an Acupuncturist, but a dedicated alternative healthcare practitioner with specialty experience in graceful-aging, pain management, hormone replacement alternatives and weight loss. I incorporate herbal medicine from many different traditions- Western, Asian, Ayurvedic and Native American with my treatments, both internally and topically. I also rely on and incorportate other forms of alternative healing including colon hydrotherapy, massage, chiropractics, ozone therapy, hot/cold therapies, sauna/sweat lodges, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, mud wraps, using food as medicine, and foot detoxification baths.

Throughout my life, I have been fortunate enough to cross paths with some very talented, creative, angelic and accomplished individuals. Prior to joining cloud 9, I worked side by side with Helene Gentili, well know for her talents as an iridologist, native folk healer and medical intuitive. Together we worked closely with Dr. Hitnedra Shah M.D., Krista McPhail C.H., and Dr. David Holder D.C., in a collaboration know as “botanica west” which proved to be a shinning example of the power and importance of integrative “east-west/ alternative-conventional” medicine. Currently I am working with the best R.N. in the world, Kim Hagen, at her medi-spa “Cloud 9″. Coming from a solid Western background, Kim Hagen is self taught in Feng Shui and the 5 Element theory. I am absolutely amazed at her firm belief in esoteric Eastern philosophy, how she applies and lives by it everyday and have a huge respect for her artistic creations and her willingness to give in every way.

Before moving east to practice in the foothills,  I was a student at Emperors College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica.  I had the great fortune of finding myself “taken in” by legendary acupuncturists Dr. Yi Pan and Dr. Xiao Ming Xu. Under their guidance I was able to see first hand how effective natural medicine can be, all while meeting and entertaining some of the world most talented artists, influential politicians, royal families, and all around notorious and infamous characters. With Dr. Pan and Dr. Xu as my mentors they supported encouraged and challenged me in the deepest ways. I graduated with an M.A. in Asian Medicine magna cum laude, immediately Licensed with the CA Acupuncture Board, and flew out of their nest known as “the Chinese Healing Institute” to discover the powers of Asian Medicine on my own terms…
