Olive oil & Lemon flush

 

During a gallbladder flush, it is important to avoid foods rich in saturated fats and cholesterol, such as meats, fried foods, dairy and eggs. Many nuts also have too much oil and fats and should be avoided during this cleanse. Eat mainly unrefined grains, fresh veggies, fruits and legumes.

Foods that enhance the cleansing process and that should be encouraged during this flush are:  Pears, Parsnips, Seaweeds, Lemons, Limes, Radish, and Tumeric.

The Gradual Method

For 21 days,  eat 1-2 Radishes a day in between meals, drink 3 cups of Cleavers tea or 5 cups of Chamomile tea every day. Then, on 1 meal per day- usually dinner, pour 5 teaspoons of fresh, cold-pressed Flax Seed oil over your meal. Stones will gradually pass over the 21 days .

The Quicker Method

Usually a 1 day ritual. In the morning, and throughout the day, eat only Apples.  Organic green apples are best, make sure that you eat at least 5. Water, Apple Juice and Herbal teas can also be taken during this flush.  At bedtime, warm up 2/3rds of a cup of extra virgin olive oil to body temperature, and then mix in 1/3rd cup of fresh lemon juice. Slowly sip this mixture, then immediately go to bed, being sure to lye on the right side with the right leg drawn up. In the morning, all stones should pass through the stool. Can be modified and done over 5 days.
