Foods for the Liver and Spring
Foods eaten during the Spring season should be young and tender, lightweight, slightly spicy, slightly sweet, perhaps sour, and best if green or yellowish in color. The goal is to eat in a way that will create a spring inside our own body.
Liver supporting Foods: increase
These foods will help during a liver cleanse and will themselves clean the liver and can be added to a liver detox regime. Also, in general, eating these foods raw will have a stronger cleaning and detox effect than cooked or even steamed. Whenever a food benefits the liver like this, it will also help to clean the Gall Bladder out, since they work as a pair. Depending on how dirty your liver is, you may notice that the main route of detoxification for the liver is the colon, you will not more bowel movements when eating these foods.

Constipation can impair liver function and make the body very toxic very quick. You will notice most of these foods will produce phlegm causing a need to flush the liver later on.

Do walking meditations such as this one: Go for a walk. Each time you take a step say something positive to yourself, either silently or out loud. Start to notice the beauty (colors especially) all around you. Or say something to yourself like, I”‘m getting better and better every day in every way” or “I’m a divine perfect spiritual being.”
