Beautifully crafted, hand-decorated feathers, and featherwear, made to delight.
We all need colour, fascination and vibrancy in our lives. Do it differently. Do it memorably. Do it permanently. Don’t give flowers, give feathers.

As well as individual feather pieces, I design and create featherwear as bespoke commissions. Great for special occasions, festivals, and events. My feathers can also be used in ceremony and rituals as sacred tools to smudge and cleanse.

Why feathers?

Because I love them! To me, they signify freedom and latitude; being able to take flight, spread your wings and soar high. Their lightness is a permanent reminder to stay carefree and marvel at what life has to offer. Their beauty is something to cherish. And, like each of us, every feather is different, individual, special. Think of them as a bird’s fingerprint.

The patterns of nature and its visual beauty have always filled me with wonder. All of my hand-decorated feathers are unique and lovingly crafted. No two are the same. Behind each of them is a strong intent to bring joy, protection and abundance into somebody’s life. They can be given as a token of love and support; something to remind a person close to you that you care. Or they can simply be appreciated as an object of beauty to brighten up someone’s day. And what’s not to love about that?

Which feathers?

I source my feathers as ethically as possible. Many are from birds who shed them naturally or are found in the countryside, abiding by the Wildlife and Countryside Act.

I work hard to try and find the provenance of where each comes from. I have some great stories and I love it when I’m sent pictures of the birds that I make my pieces from.
